Medical student-run free clinics provide services to underserved and indigent populations, as well as giving students the opportunity to work within a clinical setting with physicians and foster a learning environment. Starting a clinic can be a difficult endeavor so below are some resources to help you get started.

National Association of Free Clinics
The National Association of Free Clinics is a non-profit professional association composed of Free Clinics and State/Regional Free Clinic Associations, working together to support Free Clinics and the people they serve. There are currently over 800 Free Clinics in 47 states.
Saturday Neighborhood Health Center (SNHC)
SNHC is a student-run free primary care clinic for individuals with no health insurance. Established in January 1997 by the Washington University Student Organized Clinic Committee (SOCC), SNHC is staffed by Washington University physicians, medical students, and social work students.
