Prompt payment surveys

The AMA's PSA unit has developed a Payment Timeliness Survey Support Package and has worked with a significant number of state medical associations to develop and disseminate prompt payment surveys.

The results of these surveys have been used by state medical associations to develop and promote state prompt payment legislation and regulation. Today, 49 states and the District of Columbia have prompt payment laws and/or regulations.
