The Second National Congress on Health System Readiness was held July 18-20, 2007 in Washington D.C. The purpose of the Congress was to bring public health and healthcare delivery sectors together to improve preparedness for an influenza pandemic at the community level. The Congress was a partnership between the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the AMA.
