There is an error in the Checkpoint Exercises in Chapter 3, on page 81, Question 5 - the book states that the correct answer to this question is "C". The correct answer to this question is "D" - Since the patient has two problems, the otitis media and upper respiratory infection, the additional work would warrant a level 2 - 99212 and a 99281 with Modifier 25.
