About the Editors

Dave Davis, MD, is Vice President of Cont Healthcare. A family physician and health services researcher, he has had a 25-year career devoted to understanding physician learning and the effectiveness of continuing medical education.

Barbara E. Barnes, MD, is Assistant VIce Chancellor for Continuing Education in the Health Sciences and Associate Dean for Continuing Medical Education at the University of Pittsburgh.

Robert Fox, EdD, is currently Professor of Adult and Higher Education at the University of Oklahoma in Norman. He teaches masters and doctorate students in theory and research related to continuing professional development and instructional strategies in adult and higher education.
