AMA Group Practice Services

As physicians continue to join group settings and assume an increasingly important role in the practice of medicine, their prevalence within the AMA grows. As a group practice physician or staff member, Group Practice Services is your main contact for information, programs, and policies. The office's primary purpose is to help keep you informed about the policies that affect your practice, engaged in dialogue with our staff and your colleagues, and educated about recent trends and practice management patterns.

The interests of group and faculty practice physicians within the AMA are advanced through the Advisory Committee on Group Practice Physicians. The committee consists of representatives from 11 group & faculty practices throughout the United States. The Committee meets two times each year to discuss policy matters and activities that bear directly on group and faculty practice plan physicians.

Learn more about the educational programs offered by our office. Also, see the AMA professional courtesy discounts created specifically for medical group practices that include discounts for AMA members.

For more information on medical group and faculty practice plan membership or the activities of Group Practice Services or the Advisory Committees, contact Carrie Waller, Manager, at (312) 464-4546 or carrie.waller@ama-assn.org.
