Roadmaps for Clinical Practice series

It is increasingly evident that a strong partnership between the medical and public health sectors is beneficial to the health and well-being of our nation. Such a collaboration exists between the AMA and the Department of Health and Human Services to produce "Roadmaps for Clinical Practice." The Roadmaps series is intended to assist physicians to adapt to the ever-changing medical landscape and integrate disease prevention and health promotion into routine clinical care.

Case studies in Disease Prevention and Health Promotion
The case study series includes topical monographs focusing on some of the leading causes of morbidity and premature mortality as identified in Healthy People 2010 and strategies to help physicians address these issues in the clinical encounter and within the community.
